Tutor Booked is a booking service run by Grandesco, a partnership based in Pasig City. These terms apply to everyone who creates an account.
Accounts
- You need an account to book or teach. Students must be 12 or older, and a parent or guardian must agree for students under 18. Tutors must be 18 or older.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for bookings made from your account.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, gives false information or puts other users at risk.
Tutors
- Tutors are independent and set their own rates and hours. A tutor profile is shown only after we review the tutor’s government ID and credentials, and only while the tutor is on a paid plan.
- Verification confirms identity, age and the credentials submitted. It does not guarantee learning outcomes.
Bookings and payment
- Booking is free. Payment is by QR Ph and opens as soon as the session is booked. A session cannot be paid after the payment deadline.
- A booking that is still unpaid 30 minutes before its start is cancelled automatically, without charge.
- Students pay the tutor’s posted rate. Payments are received by Grandesco and held under our documented settlement procedure until the session is completed. This is not a regulated escrow service.
- Refunds, replacement sessions and cancellations follow the refund and cancellation policy.
Sessions
Sessions take place online, on an outside service such as Google Meet or Zoom. Tutor Booked does not host or record them. Be respectful; report any problem to us within 48 hours of the session.
